Sunday thru Thursday Part-time availability may also be available Any applicants wishing to apply must already be state certified as a CNA and current on the Nurse Aide Registry.
CNA's are caring and compassionate individuals that provide personal care, and assist our residents in maintaining their independence.
The nurse's aide position provides hands on assistance with the daily care needs of the residents including a variety of personal needs.
A primary responsibility of this position is to provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly residents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
We are looking for a committed individual who has the following characteristics including, but not limited to:
Supportive and compassionate Takes pride in providing high quality care Eager to improve and learn new skills Observes and reports any changes or symptoms amongst a resident to the licensed nurse on the appropriate shift.
Monitors and records vital signs of residents as obstructed.
Experience in documentation and completion of task sheets The ability to manage assigned tasks (ADL's) within the scheduled shift Effective communication and interpersonal skills to develop relationships with residents, families, staff, and providers Willingness to enforce health and safety standards Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Requirements:
State certification as a nurse aide (CNA) CMA and ACMA's are caring and compassionate individuals that administer and dispense oral and topical medications, provide personal care, and assist our residents in maintaining their independence.
The medication aide position provides hands on assistance with the daily care needs of the residents including a variety of personal needs.
A primary responsibility of this position is to coordinate medication administration for all assigned residents and for routinely monitoring the resident's comfort.
All medication administration tasks are to be performed as ordered by a physician, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with state and federal rules and regulations, and consistent with facility policies.
We are looking for a committed individual who has the following characteristics including, but not limited to:
Proficiency in administering medication Must demonstrate knowledge of the five rights of medication administration.
Records the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriately on the MAR.
Observes and reports any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse on the appropriate shift.
Administers PRN medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and consistent with facility policy.
Monitors and records Vital Signs of residents as ordered.
Keeps med cart and med room neat, clean.
Experience in documentation and completion of task sheets The ability to manage assigned tasks (ADL's) within the scheduled shift Possesses the appropriate certifications/licenses needed for Certified Medication Aide/Med Tech role Effective communication and interpersonal skills to develop relationships with residents, families, staff, and providers Previous experience of elder care is preferred, but not required Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements:
Strong self-management and organization skills Strong multi-tasking abilities with the ability to handle duties of the shift Ability to effectively handle difficult and sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality Sits, stands, bends and moves intermittently during working hours.
Is subject to frequent interruptions.
